Tibia plateau fractures are associated with extensive soft tissue injuries. Wound dehiscence occurs rarely and can lead to exposure of bone and implant. The challenges in treating this condition are great due to difficulties achieving flap cover. This is a case report of a successful treatment option for a dehisced wound following fixation of a Schatzker 6 fracture.
