Publication Ethics
The Detal Journal of Medical Practices (DJMP) adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics,
in alignment with the principles set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Responsibilities of Authors
- Submit only original research and ensure all sources are properly acknowledged.
- Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification.
- Ensure all co-authors have made a significant contribution and approve the final manuscript.
2. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality and avoid conflicts of interest.
- Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.
3. Responsibilities of Editors
- Make unbiased decisions based on scholarly merit.
- Ensure a fair peer review process and maintain confidentiality.
- Act on any ethical concerns, including suspected plagiarism or misconduct.
4. Handling Misconduct
The editorial team investigates any reports of ethical violations. Confirmed cases result in appropriate actions,
which may include retraction, publication of a correction, or notification of the author’s institution.
